As part of the Triangle NC May Day Week of Festivities, Triangle Guerrilla Cinema & Eros Plus Riot present breaking the spell: a game within a screening.

Breaking the Spell is an hour-long archival documentary about the 1999 Seattle WTO protests and the anarchists who traveled there to set a new precedent for militant confrontation. This immersive, interactive engagement with the film will situate experiencers in some of the physical conditions and tactics of these street protests. We offer a lived encounter with the bravery, joy, camaraderie, and challenge that was and is found in the streets, to help invigorate us in the struggles of the present.

Possible elements of encounter: locking on, graffiti, haze, water, barricades, destruction, creation [although no actual harm will come to you, dear one]
